CURRENT ACTIVITIES

I am currently working at Loughborough University on the ‘Commercialisation Studios’ program. This allows me access to the ceramic department and its facilities. It is an opportunity to develop my making techniques, and expand my knowledge of applied ceramic surfaces. The technique I have evolved is a very unconventional and experimental way of slip casting. Due to this I have many avenues of exploration and technical challenges. I’m utilising various stoneware/earthenware glaze recipes, and am gaining experience with different kiln firings and programming techniques. I’m also investigating the potentials of building kilns.
